Kevin is an award-winning military historian, author and battlefield guide whose career brings together scholarship, military command and public history.
A graduate of the United States Military Academy with a Ph.D. in history from Princeton University, he served over 28 years on active duty in the US Army before retiring as a colonel. Today he writes, lectures and leads groups through some of the most significant battlefields in the United States and Europe.
